Outdoor Burning in the Township of Seguin is regulated to protect people, property, and the environment.

Burning is dependent on the current fire hazard rating. Please check the current fire rating before igniting any fire, as restrictions or burn bans may be in effect.

A fire permit may be required depending on the size of the fire and time of day, and must be obtained in advance.

When burning is permitted, conditions can change quickly. Fires must be attended at all times and fully extinguished before leaving the area.
