Seguin Township staff have drafted a dark sky by-law to regulate outdoor lighting, reduce light pollution, and help preserve the dark sky environment.

The community is encouraged to review the draft by-law, through the Township of Seguin’s public engagement site, www.letsconnectseguin.ca.

Public consultation will remain open until May 12, 2026.

A revised draft, based on this phase of public consultation, will go back to council to be considered for adoption later this spring.
