Municipal Performance Measures

The Municipal Performance Measurement Program (MPMP) is a performance measurement and reporting system that promotes local government transparency and accountability. It also provides municipalities with useful data to make informed municipal service level decisions while optimizing available resources.

Effective January 1, 2015 two significant changes were impleted:
  1. In order to streamline municipal reporting requirements, the collection of Municipal Performance Measurement Program (MPMP) measures (formerly Schedules 90-95 of the Fincial Information Return) are no longer required, and have been replaced by Schedule 80D.
  2. As data is reported in the Financial Information Return, which is available to the public, municipalities are not required to independently report their perofmance measures in a set format.
