The new Board of the West Parry Sound Recreation and Cultural Centre is seeking applications for its Fundraising and Sponsorship Team to support the long-awaited centre which includes a lap pool, therapeutic pool, fitness centre and gym.

- Advise the Board on any fundraising matter
- Develop and recommend the fundraising/sponsorship strategy to the Board for approval

Public Service Announcement: COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics This Week, By Appointment or Walk-in

COVID-19 vaccine appointments are available at clinics taking place in North Bay and Parry Sound this week. Individuals can book an appointment at Ontario.ca/BookVaccine, or by calling the Health Unit call centre at 1-844-478-1400. Individuals of all ages five and older can attend any of the clinics this week. Walk-ins are welcome.
Individuals should bring a health card or another form of identification, if possible.

As of 8 a.m. tomorrow – Friday Feb. 18, 2022 – individuals 12 to 17 years of age will be eligible to book an appointment for their booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Individuals who would like to have their booster dose are encouraged to book an appointment or walk into a Health Unit vaccine clinic.
