NORTH BAY – The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit (Health Unit) has received confirmation of measles exposure locations in the district after an individual visited the region on route from Cobden to Timmins. This case is not related to the 11 cases previously reported and is being monitored by Northeastern Public Health.

The Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) – Bracebridge-Minden-Parry Sound District is advising area residents that a Flood Warning bulletin is in effect for the Black, Burnt, Magnetawan, Muskoka, and Severn River watersheds in the District until Friday, April 04, 2025.
The Flood Warning will affect residents within the MNR Bracebridge-Minden-Parry Sound District, which includes portions of the District Municipality of Muskoka, the Territorial District of Parry Sound, and the County of Haliburton.

NORTH BAY, ON – The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit (Health Unit) has confirmed four additional cases of measles, bringing the region total to five as of March 19. All newly infected individuals are close contacts of the original case announced earlier this month and are not fully vaccinated against measles. They are currently self-isolating.
