Seguin Township appoints new Fire Chief

Sean Carroll has been appointed Seguin Township’s new Fire Chief. Don Hood, who held the role for nine years, retires on March 31, 2022.

Chief Carroll brings decades of experience to the position. He previously worked as the Supervisor of Emergency Services with the Region of Waterloo Airport. He also has 13 years of experience as a volunteer fire fighter with Greater Sudbury Fire and was with the Township of north Dumfries Volunteer Fire Service for 19 years.  Chief Carroll is pleased to return...

NIPISSING & PARRY SOUND, ON – Due to warnings of inclement weather, the COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics planned for this evening at Rosseau Lake College (Rosseau, ON) and Our Lady of Sorrows Elementary School (Sturgeon Falls, ON) have been cancelled.

The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit is contacting individuals who had scheduled appointments for this evening.

COVID-19 vaccine clinics are taking place in Nipissing and Parry Sound districts this week for individuals of all ages five and older. Walk-ins are welcome. Face coverings are required at all clinics. Individuals should bring a health card or another form of identification, if possible.
