NIPISSING & PARRY SOUND, ON – As a result of the recall on various frozen mango products associated with a possible Hepatitis A contamination, the North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit (Health Unit) is offering eligible individuals a free Hepatitis A vaccine. The recall has been issued by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), and includes the following products:

Hydro One Forestry Services has informed the township that they will be working on their distribution lines in the region, including some sections of Seguin Township, starting this month (August 2021) and into 2022.

The Ministry of Transportation wishes to provide an update regarding the closure of Highway 518 at Bear Creek culvert, located 17 kilometres east of Orrville and 28 kilometres west of Highway 11.

Bell’s popular Wireless Home Internet (WHI) service is now available to more residents and businesses in Seguin. This is the latest step in the region’s multipronged approach to ensure Seguin telecommunications is on par with larger urban centres. Fully funded by Bell, this service can offer up to 50 Mbps download and 10Mbps upload speeds. Homes and businesses in the following regions may be eligible for this new service:
