COVID-19 vaccine clinics are taking place in Nipissing and Parry Sound districts this week for individuals of all ages five and older. Walk-ins are welcome. Face coverings are required at all clinics. Individuals should bring a health card or another form of identification, if possible.

Although face covering requirements for many settings will end on Monday, March 21, 2022, there is still substantial transmission of the Omicron variant of COVID-19 within the North Bay Parry Sound Health Unit district. Resilience, creativity and community: Humphrey Public School students lead interactive art project in Seguin

In 2021, as COVID-19 upended our lives, the grade-six class at Humphrey Public School created a project to encourage the community to reflect on their feelings about the pandemic using art.
With musical inspiration from Whispering River Music, the students painted wooden signs asking:
- How has Covid affected your life?
- What have you lost?
- What have you found?
- Have you been angry?
- Where have you found joy?
- What are you grateful for?

NIPISSING & PARRY SOUND, ON – COVID-19 vaccine appointments are available at clinics taking place in Nipissing and Parry Sound districts this week. Individuals can book an appointment at Ontario.ca/BookVaccine, or by calling the Health Unit call centre at 1-844-478-1400. Individuals ages five and older can attend any of the clinics this week.
