Former Councillor and Clerk-Treasurer of Humphrey Township Julia Fraser passed away on May 11, 2023. Seguin Township flags have been lowered to half-mast to honour her service to the community.
Julia Fraser had an incredible impact locally and further afield as a leader in our region and member of the Women's Royal Naval Service.

Seguin Township introduces two new quality of life by-laws

Seguin Township Council passed an enhanced noise by-law and a new nuisance by-law at their April 3 meeting as part of a broader objective to improve quality of life in the area.
The enhanced noise by-law expands on the previous noise by-law with specific regulations now in place for several behaviours, including operating construction equipment, squealing vehicle tires, and setting off fireworks after 11pm (with exceptions on New Year’s Eve). Maximum fines are also higher under this new by-law.
